In which country is the data stored and how is it protected?

We use a state-of-the-art cloud service for storing your data which has passed the following security and privacy certifications: ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3. As a company, we are based in Europe, but we chose our data centers to be where most of our customers are located, which is in the USA.

No data from the microphone (via the Sound Level widget) is being stored on our servers. It is only recorded locally, in the browser that is used, to create the volume display.
